Events
Grow On Katikati runs monthly events to help our members gain the knowledge and tools to achieve success, to meet like-minded others in our commUNITY, and to have some great fun along the way!
We run workshops every second month, and interspace those with other events like movie inspiration nights, social events, and fundraisers.
We like to keep it local and work with the expertise of those in our commUNITY wherever possible! Our tutors are a smart bunch who impart information with passion and a simplicity that all can understand.

Bumblebee Garden Hive🐝
$135 per hive ($125 for Grow On Member
Bumblebees are exceptionally effective pollinators—often outperforming honeybees.
In fact, scientists estimate that 200 bumblebees can do the work of 10,000 honeybees in some crops!
The Zonda ‘Home Garden Hive’ is specially
designed for the home gardener or orchardist. Boost pollination, grow stronger plants, and enjoy bigger harvests.
What's in the Hive?
Each hive includes a self-sustaining colony of around 50 Bombus terrestris (earth bees), including a Queen. It arrives fully set up with a built-in sugar syrup feeder — no maintenance, feeding, or cleaning required.
Hive Performance
The hive will typically remain active for around 6 weeks, depending on food sources and colony health. As part of their natural life cycle, the Queen will eventually die. Before this happens, she will produce several new Queens, which will leave the hive to establish new colonies nearby — helping increase bumblebee populations in your area.
